Can`t believe that half of the year`s already gonne.Had really great time touring with my band in C.Republic,Poland,Germany and Croatia.Woderfull experience with many great gigs,clubs ant a lot of new friends in these countries.UK and Irish dates have been postponed for September due to the birth of Sarah (Berns second daughter) CHEERS PETRA AND DR WELZ!!!
Last 2 months I played with Waterloo in Russia and Don Airey Band in Bulgaria,That was something really special.Brilliant audience and even more brilliant hospitality from Veva,Nina and Val (can`t find the right words to describe the way I felt there) THANKS SO MUCH!!!
Work on the new Verena`s cd is going quite well (7 songs ready,3 more to go).Look forward to play this stuff live soon.
May was really busy with lots of studio things going around.Just finished the song for a famous croatian singer Tony Cetinski called "Stand up and Fight".This track`s gonna be the official anthem of the Pro Taekwondo tournaments worldwide.
And finally Jon Lord Concerto for Group and Orchestra with Nota Bene Zurich Simphony Orchestra dates are confirmed for January 2009 (check out the tour dates for details)

2007 started with a cool show with "Waterloo" in
Cszech Republic,and the upcoming shows will take place
at Joe Zawinul`s Birdland in Vienna with "Don Airey
Band" on the 12th of Jan followed by "Waterloo" and "Verena".
Many great things happened during the 2006,playing and
recording with awesome artists and having a lot of
fun.
Recently i met Mark Schulman who is touring with "Pink" and discussed some options about my new album
recordings and some live sessions in 2007.
It seems that it´s gonna be a plenty of excitement
during the recording and it feels really great knowing
that him,Gary Nowak and Bernie (Bernhard Welz) will
play drum tracks on it:
Hope that Ian will join so its gonna be a real
drumming instead of a guitar playing cd.
But fear not `cause my favourite violin princess Lidia
Baich will also leave some fingerprints there and some
other guys who will remain secret for a time being.

magical instrument called Guitar since we met each
other long time ago..

feeling being together on stage with The Master Of

my dear friend Bernhard Welz-Drums, to play wonderfull
music of Rainbow,Whitesnake,Deep Purple,Ozzy Osbourne
and my favourite composer Ludwig Van Beethoveen.I
enjoyed every single moment.every single note on and
off stage.With this line up my dreams really came
true.

Famous classical violin player Miss Lidia Baich(Pavarrotti and Friends,Andrea Boccelli)winner of The Best European Musician Award will join Don Airey And Friends concerts in Austria as a special guest.
The aftershow party and autograph session will take place at the club "Cheese" on the 16th of September in Linz which will be open for the band and fans till 6 am.

On the 27th of June Kaitner Z Doka Group played at Joe
Zawinuls Birdland in Vienna´.The whole show was
recorded and some tracks will be used for the upcoming
live cd.The band had great fun performing live at the
legendary club and earned a huge respect from the
audience.
The surprise of the evening was the unplugged part
with Verena singing two amazing versions of "Angels
Stand By Me" and "Me And My Bobby Mc Gee"
Doka has started touring with Verena on the 24th of
June playing first big open air show in
Umhausen(Tirol)
During July he is on tour with W&R and Verena and
starts to work on the new "Big Blue" record feat.

The latest news!!! : Don Airey&Friends shows in Vienna and
Linz are confirmed for the 15th and 16th of September
2006 with the KROKUS singer CARL SENTANCE, the bass
player CHRIS CHILDS from the PAUL YOUNG BAND and
THUNDER ,BERNHARD WELZ from the IAN PAICE BAND on the
drums and KAITNER Z DOKA from the IAN PAICE BAND on

KAITNER Z DOKA GROUP has started the 2006 tour on the
25th of March in the biggest music store in Austria
called ´MUSIK PRODUKTIV´feat BERNHARD WELZ from IAN
PAICE BAND on the drums and MARTIN MONDL ex IAN PAICE
BAND on the bass.
In the 2006 the band is planning to play all across
the Europe and the live cd will be out in March 2007.
Among the other shows it´s important to announce the
show an the 27th of June at JOE ZAWINUL´s BIRDLAND
club in Vienna and the CAVERN CLUB in Liverpool at the
end of September where COLIN HODGKINSON (ex
WHIITESNAKE bass player)and GARY BALDWIN
(PORTISHEAD)will join the band.
The latest news is that Doka will play with the
CLASSIC WHITESNAKE AND FRIENDS in WIESEN on the
LEGENDS OF ROCK FESTIVAL feat the original WHITESNAKE
members (BERNIE MARSDEN,NEIL MURRAY) plus GARY BALDWIN
and BERNHARD WELZ.
This is one of the biggest rock events in Europe this
summer with URIAH HEEP,KEITH EMERSON,NAZARETH and
CLASSIC WHITESNAKE!
THE HARD ROCK CAFFEE´s WORLD TOUR with the CLASSIC
WHITESNAKE is planned for the fall this year when the
band will visit
Munich,Colonne,Berlin,Kopenhagen,Oslo,Madrid,
Barcelona,Lisabon,Puerto Rico,Gran Cannaria,Sao Paolo,Miami,L A etc.
At the moment Doka is also busy with THE GOLDEN

It´s important to say that after 10 years one of the
best croatian singers GORAN KARAN,the legendary
croatian bass player and producer REMO CARTAGINE and
Doka has joined the forcess working together on the
new songs for the international market.
